Ralph Strangis, Dave Strader, Daryl “Razor” Reaugh. These three names have been the lifeblood of the Dallas Stars broadcast team over the past 25 years. But times change, and with change comes fresh, new faces and new beginnings.
And that’s what the Stars will have in the 2018-19 season as they prepare for yet another big season.
On Monday morning, the team announced that Razor, a 22-year veteran in the Stars’ broadcast booth, will step away from serving as the play-by-play announcer and reassume his role as color commentator. Up until the beginning of the 2016-17 season, he served as the color commentator, sitting alongside Ralph Strangis for much of it as well as a brief one-year stint with Dave Strader.
