The Dallas Stars continued work on their outstanding free agents this week, signing UFA Joe Cecconi and RFAs Riley Tufte and Ryan Shea all to one-year, two-way deals.
Among Texas Stars UFAs, Joel L'Esperance is the only remaining question mark. The RFA group is a little larger with Ben Gleason, Jordan Kawaguchi, Alexey Lipanov and Colton Point still outstanding. As the league continues to readjust from COVID delays, July 11 is the RFA qualifying offer deadline, giving nine more days to get things locked down.
Meanwhile in net, Dallas sorted the backup position for the next two years by signing Scott Wedgewood.
