With the qualifying offer deadline looming, Dallas crossed another RFA off their list with the re-signing of Oskar Bäck on a one-year, two-way deal.
The defensively responsible Swedish forward also managed to set career highs in points and assists while tying his previous best in goals (7-29=36). Bäck has never been a flashy scorer but his offense skills have been more than supplemented by his faceoff and defensive prowess.
Matt Murray is now the lone remaining RFA who played in Texas last season.
Here's the release:
Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has signed forward Oskar Bäck to a one-year, two-way contract.
