Game 7s. I remember what others remember.
Grant Ledyard twisting, turning, falling as the Oilers speedy forward roars past him along the right wall, streaks in on Andy Moog, raises a shot past him and it's over and it truly feels like sudden death. A marvelous season for the No. 2-seeded Dallas Stars is finished in the first round.
It's called a "Mohawk turn" that Ledyard failed to execute but I didn't know that until someone -- maybe Razor Reaugh, maybe my guru, Craig Button -- told me that a day or so later. Regardless, it was a team defeat because the Stars' real problem throughout that seven-game series was the gloved hand of Cujo that kept stealing their finest efforts.
