Dallas and Texas made several moves today as the two clubs are both idle and preparing for a busy coming week on the schedule.
First, Dallas reassigned forward Nick Caamano to the Texas Stars. Caamano has played in more than twice as many NHL games than AHL games so far this season (12 vs. 5), a testament to his continued improvement and NHL readiness.
Second, Texas reassigned Ondrej Vala to Idaho. Vala did not play while he was on AHL recall.
Finally, Texas released Conner Bleackley from his AHL tryout. He was signed before the season started and collected five points in ten games played with the Stars.
