Jiri Hudler made maybe the biggest mistake of the entire season late in the first period. With Dallas on the delayed penalty and Kari Lehtonen on the bench, Hudler tried to drop a pass to Dan Hamhuis and missed. The puck trickled back into the Stars net for maybe the worst own goal of the NHL season. It was the first time for the Stars to have such a blatant own goal since Ivan Vishnevskiy scored into his own net back in 2009.
