NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- In a yellow-tinted and thundering house of heartache off Broadway in Nashville, the Stars tackled another Western Conference giant. In Bridgestone Arena, against the division rival Predators and after an unusual schedule, Dallas beat Nashville 2-0, notching another win against one of the conference's best teams.
Anton Khudobin sparkled in net, making a career-high 49 saves -- including 31 in the first two periods -- to boost the Stars to their second straight road victory. He also tied a Dallas Stars record, tying Marty Turco's 49 saves from 2010.
Tyler Pitlick scored for the second consecutive game by wristing a shot past Pekka Rinne in the first period.
