Can the Stars win the Cup with an all-out offense approach?

In an era when goals are at a premium, the Dallas Stars have built a contender based almost exclusively with offense. The Stars currently lead the league with a whopping 3.58 goals per game, and they have netted at least three goals in 15 of 19 games this season. Since Jim Nill took over as general manager and Lindy Ruff was hired as the new bench boss before the 2013-14 season, Dallas has averaged 3.04 goals per game -- by far the league's highest tally in that span.

But is this sort of roster construction conducive to winning the Stanley Cup?
