The Texas Stars have strung together their third straight win as they dispatched the San Jose Barracuda 3-2 in overtime on Tuesday evening. The Stars did not lead the contest until scoring the final, OT goal. Brian Flynn’s name was called several times in the game, including the game-tying and game-winning goals. The Stars were a perfect 2-for-2 on the power play with goals from Flynn and Roope Hintz. Landon Bow manned the pipes and played well, stopping 31 shots out of 33.
“To come back with a day of heavy travel and play tonight, it’s a tough game and you worry about the energy,” said head coach Derek Laxdal.
