FRISCO -- The Stars may be getting some reinforcements in time for the league’s hottest team.
Stars coach Jim Montgomery said forward Blake Comeau and goaltender Ben Bishop are probable to dress for Thursday night’s game against the Blues, who carry an 11-game win streak into the American Airlines Center. Both were out with upper-body injuries, and are awaiting full medical clearance to return to game action.
Comeau missed the last three games. Bishop missed the last six games in an absence that initially appeared to last days, and instead turned into a two-plus-week stint. Both practiced during the Stars’ optional practice Wednesday afternoon, and brought positive news to Montgomery.
