Are the Stars the best to end DFW’s pro playoff drought? Here’s what oddsmakers say

Are the Stars going to end the drought?

The last pro sports team from DFW to make the postseason was the Cowboys and that was all the way back during the 2016 season.

Last spring, the team completed a horrific collapse down the stretch and missed the NHL playoffs in historic fashion.

Head Ken Hitchcock then stepped down as head coach.

During the offseason, general manager Jim Nill replaced Hitchock with Denver University head coach Jim Montgomery, signed Tyler Seguin to a huge extension and inked Anton Khudobin to replace Kari Lehtonen as the team’s backup goalie.
