Americans take 8-2 victory in Game 1 against Ontario Sunday; Game 2 on Monday in Allen

Allen, Texas-The Allen Americans took Game 1 of the ECHL Western Conference Finals, 8-2 on Sunday afternoon, to take a 1-0 series lead over the Ontario Reign.

Six different players scored for Allen, which went 3 for 6 on the power play. Greger Hanson netted his team leading 8^th & 9^th of the playoffs, one of which came with the man-advantage. Chad Costello had the other power play goal for Allen, his 5^th of playoffs. Costello added two assists, as well. Chris Crane scored for the 4^th game in a row, his 5^th of the postseason.
