Stars score three times in the third to overcome two-goal deficit
Looking to remain undefeated on the road, the Texas Stars erased a two-goal deficit entering the third period to defeat the Tucson Roadrunners 4-3 at Tucson Convention Center Arena. After a hard fought come-from-behind victory the night before, the Stars again showed that they are a team with resiliency, having outshot the home team 20-2 in the third period.
Alex Petrovic, freshly reassigned from Dallas, proved to be the hero, scoring the game-winning goal with just 16 seconds remaining in regulation.
