After horrid start to season, Stars forward Mattias Janmark beginning to contribute offensively

The Stars need Mattias Janmark.

Janmark is the 26-year-old forward once penciled in as the second-line left wing only to bounce around the Dallas lineup, sometimes elevated to complement Tyler Seguin on the top line and other times limited to fourth-line minutes. He hasn't played on the power play in almost two months, and he's become one of the team's most reliable penalty killers.

Last year, Janmark held the distinction of being the highest-scoring Star outside of Seguin, Jamie Benn, Alexander Radulov and John Klingberg. His 34 points led the rest of the team, and he was counted on to be a part of the secondary scoring this season.
