FRISCO -- While the Stars carry a three-game losing streak into Tuesday night's game against Los Angeles, they do have a player doing something better than almost anyone else in the league right now: Goaltender Ben Bishop is among the league's best at controlling rebounds through the first two-plus weeks of the season.
Bishop has opened the season decently, posting a .920 save percentage and 2.46 goals against average that outpace league averages. He's allowed two or fewer goals in three of his five starts.
According to Natural Stat Trick, Bishop faces just 2.26 rebound attempts per 60 minutes, ranking third in the league among goalies with at least three games played.
