Late in Wednesday’s game against the Lakers, Harrison Barnes had the ball and surveyed the court.
On one side, he saw Nicolas Brussino. On the other, Yogi Ferrell. In the paint, Salah Mejri was working for position.
It was a bit different than having Dirk Nowitzki, J.J. Barea, or even Deron Williams and Andrew Bogut before they were jettisoned, on the court with him.
But this is what Barnes has seen a steady diet of lately and he’ll see a similar buffet of options in the final four games of the season, including Friday’s next-to-last home game when the Spurs visit American Airlines Center.
