Anthony Edwards scored 32 points and Rudy Gobert added 21 points and 14 rebounds as the Timberwolves withstood an electrifying rally by the Mavs and got out of town with a slim 124-121 victory Monday night at American Airlines Center.
Also for the Timberwolves, Jaden McDaniels scored 19 points, and Mike Conley and Kyle Anderson finished with 12 points apiece.
Kyrie Irving led the Mavs with 36 points, five rebounds, six assists and two steals, Luka Doncic finished with 33 points, 12 rebounds and six assists, and Christian Wood collected 24 points and five boards.
