LAS VEGAS -- Isaiah Roby has been a Maverick for three weeks and has played in four summer league games, and yet it isn't much clearer which position he'll play as a pro.
That's a good thing.
Nor is it clear whether the 6-foot-8, 230-pound Roby will spend more of this season as a Maverick, or with the G League's Texas Legends.
That is to be expected of a player who was selected 45th overall in the June 20 draft and, until his strong showing in May's NBA combine in Chicago, was considered borderline to be drafted at all.
