A stoic Harrison Barnes, sitting on the Mavericks' bench, looking on as reports of his trade circulated during Dallas' game against the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday night at American Airlines Center.
The move stirred up reaction from every corner of the NBA, and even prompted Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James to go on an Instagram rant about the hypocrisy of teams making business decisions vs. players doing what's best for them.
What many wondered, though, was whether Barnes knew if the trade had unfolded as he watched his now-former teammates compete in a game.
