SAN FRANCISCO – It was the final game of a grueling 11-day, five-game road trip for the Dallas Mavericks, and they didn’t get the results they coveted.
Andrew Wiggins tallied 23 points and the Golden State Warriors outlasted and defeated the Mavs, 104-100, before a sellout crowd of 18,064 on Tuesday night at the Chase Center. The loss ended the Mavs’ seven-game winning streak and sent them back to North Texas with a 45-30 record going into Thursday’s home game against the Atlanta Hawks.
Also for the Warriors, Stephen Curry and Chris Paul scored 14 points apiece, Klay Thompson poured in 13 points, Moses Moody notched 12 points and Draymond Green added 11 points, eight rebounds, six assists and four steals.
