Retired Granbury High School girls basketball coach Leta Andrews will have to wait a little longer for her chance for induction into the basketball world's most revered hall of fame.
The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced the finalists for its 2018 class Saturday, and Andrews' name was not among them.
Andrews won 1,416 games and took her teams to 15 state tournaments over a 52-year coaching career. She made stops at Tolar, Gustine, Comanche, Granbury and Corpus Christi Calallen, where she won her only state title in 1990.
