Our three takeaways from the Mavericks' 109-87 loss to the Houston Rockets Saturday night.
Backtracking? Justin Anderson didn't get off the bench on Friday against Indiana and it was a mixed bag, at best, for him against the Rockets. Anderson had two offensive fouls in the second half and that landed him a spot on the bench. He had not been playing much before that, either. He's clearly on the fringe of the rotation and it's been a disappointing season so far for the promising second-year swingman. It'll be interesting to see how he responds to this situation.
