Two ex-Mavericks are among the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame's Class of 2018, reports said Thursday.
Point guards Jason Kidd and Steve Nash will both be inducted this year, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported. Both are first-ballot Hall of Famers.
The Mavericks drafted Kidd with the second overall pick in 1994, and he played in Dallas first from 1994-96 and again in 2018-12 as part of Dallas' 2011 title squad. Kidd made the NBA All-Star team 10 times across his 20-year career, and the All-NBA first team five of those years. He scored 17,529 points, grabbed 8,725 boards and totaled 12,091 assists across that time.
