PHOENIX – What happened to the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night at Footprint Center was almost a carbon copy of what happened to them Wednesday night in the Valley of the Sun.
For over three quarters Friday, the Mavs were in control of this game. Their shots were falling, their defense was solid.
Then the whole house came crumbling down and the Suns walked away with a 112-104 triumph in winning for the 11th straight time.
Phoenix (12-3) used a brisk 24-6 run in the first eight minutes of the fourth quarter to erase an 84-79 third-quarter deficit and run out to a 103-90 lead and put this game on ice.
