Even with a short hand, the Dallas Mavericks had enough hands on deck to handle the San Antonio Spurs.
Luka Doncic scored 25 points and the Mavs got a very strong performance from their bench in rallying from a 20-point deficit to defeat the Spurs, 104-99, on Thursday night at American Airlines Center.
The win gave the Mavs a clean sweep of this brief two-game Texas two-step home stand and padded their record to 3-1 going into Friday night’s game in Denver. Dallas dumped the Houston Rockets on Tuesday, 116-106, before taking care of business against the Spurs.
