The Kawhi Leonard watch dragged on Wednesday, taking a zany turn when birds-eye-view video images beamed from Toronto capturing a landing plane that appeared to be carrying Leonard.
Still, as of Wednesday night there had been no announcement from Leonard about whether he'll return to the Raptors or bolt to one of the Los Angeles teams, which means the Mavericks remained in limbo in their attempt to sign Leonard's Raptor teammate, Danny Green.
The Mavericks didn't just idly wait Wednesday for 6-foot-2 guard Green's decision. They made a sizeable acquisition, in the physical sense, by agreeing to terms with 7-foot-3, 290-pound Boban Marjanovic on a reported two-year, $7 million contract.
