After a close game in the first half, the game swung oddly back and forth during the second half, despite the Mavericks holding the lead the entire time. The Mavericks were able to withstand being outscored by 12 in the fourth quarter.
Luka Doncic led all scorers with 42 points to go along with 12 assists. Kyrie Irving came up big as well, scoring 40. Joel Embiid led the Sixers with 35 points. Tyrese Maxey scored 29, and James Harden scored 27.
