On Thursday night, the Mavericks picked up a good win over the Lakers. Los Angeles was short-handed, as they are still without LeBron James and only got about 17 minutes out of a returning Anthony Davis. Regardless, a strong 18-point second half by Dennis Schroder and a 6-of-12 three point shooting night from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope kept it close. But in the game of runs, Dallas had enough juice to pull away with a win.
