There will not be a Rodrigue Beaubois reunion with the Dallas Mavericks this season.
Beaubois has declined the Mavs' invitation to return to Dallas, according to a league source. The 2009 first-round pick has opted to return to Europe instead of accepting the Mavs' offer of a three-year partially guaranteed deal for the veteran's minimum salary.
Spanish reports indicate that Beaubois, 28, is close to agreeing on a deal to sign with the club Saski Baskonia in Spain.
The Mavs hoped to bring Beaubois, who played in France the last three seasons, to training camp to compete with summer league star Jonathan Gibson for a regular-season roster spot.
