Sixers defeat the Mavs, 95-73, in summer league play

The Dallas Mavericks suffered a 95-73 defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia 76ers in their debut in the MGM Resorts Summer League on Monday afternoon at the Thomas & Mack Center.

The Mavs’ next game is Wednesday at 8 p.m. CDT against the Utah Jazz.

Tyrell Terry paced the Mavs with 22 points, three assists and two steals, and Eugene Omoruyi added 16 points and six rebounds.

Philadelphia set the tone early when it busted out to a 31-14 lead after the first quarter. The Mavs had problems getting the ball through the basket as they shot just 33.
