Shooting at LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado hit close to home for Reggie Bullock

This past Saturday night’s tragic shooting at a Colorado Springs, CO, LGBTQ nightclub that killed five people and

wounded 17 others hit very close to home to Dallas Mavericks forward Reggie Bullock.

Back on July 16, 2014, Bullock’s transgender sister – Mia Henderson – was murdered in Baltimore. Because of that, Bullock is a strong supporter of LGBTQ rights and knows what happened in Colorado Springs has no place in this world.

“With what I do in the community, hearing stuff like that it definitely touched my heart knowing that I actually have a couple of friends of mine – female – who is a part of the LGBTQ community,” Bullock told Mavs.
