In a season where nothing has come easily for the Mavericks, rarely have things been as difficult as they were Wednesday night.
While Dirk Nowitzki tried his best to drag the Mavericks to a victory, they couldn’t overcome Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade, who led the Miami Heat to a 93-90 victory at American Airlines Center.
It was the Mavericks’ second loss in a row and continued a sub-.500 run since New Year’s Day (9-11).
The Mavericks were within a point early in the fourth quarter, but the Heat rebuilt the lead to seven and were still up 89-87 with 1:22 to play when Raymond Felton knocked down two free throws.
