In a rematch of last season’s Western Conference Finals, the Grinch apparently stole Christmas from the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday afternoon.
With less than three minutes remaining in the second quarter of the game between the Mavs and Minnesota Timberwolves, superstar point guard Luka Donu010diu0107 pulled up lame and was favoring his left calf as play continued up the court. And when Mike Conley scored on a three-pointer in a game the Timberwolves held on and eventually won, 105-99, Mavs coach Jason Kidd called time out and Donu010diu0107 went straight to the locker room.
Donu010diu0107, who missed two contests against the Los Angeles Clippers last week while dealing with a left heel contusion, was diagnosed with a left calf strain and did not return to the game.
