Here's our second-chance thoughts about the Mavericks' gut-wrenching 93-92 loss at Houston on Sunday night, which dropped their record to 0-3.
Looking for a payoff: The Mavericks are 0-3 for the first time since 2011-12. The last time they were 0-4 was 2006-07. Of course, they went 67-11 the rest of the way that season. That's not happening this year, folks. The Mavericks have to figure out a way to get one win ASAP, preferably Wednesday at Utah.
