DALLAS – A few quick thoughts on the Dallas Mavericks’ first-round pick:

The pick: Justin Anderson, SF, Virigina

My take: Anderson (6-foot-6, 230 pounds) has the size and quickness to be a defensive Swiss Army knife for the Mavs, much like Shawn Marion, Jae Crowder and Al-Farouq Aminu have been for Dallas in the recent past.
