When the Dallas Mavericks signed Quincy Acy over the summer, a lot of fans were very excited. Acy spent his high school days locally at John Horn High School in Mesquite, Texas. After graduating, Acy went to Baylor University.
While at Baylor, Quincy Acy played all four years for the Bears, reaching many accomplishments, including All Big-12 Freshmen Team, Big-12 Sixth Man of the Year, and Second Team All Big-12. He averaged only 10 points per game in his college career, but was known as more of a defensive presence.
After finishing out his college career, Acy entered the 2012 NBA draft as a solid defensive player with unpolished offensive skills.
