LINCOLN, Neb. — Although the Dallas Mavericks will have to wait until the regular season to see their starting lineup intact, there’s a possibility that fans will get their first look at newcomers Deron Williams and Wesley Matthews during Friday’s preseason finale against the Chicago Bulls.
Traveling to Lincoln, Neb., and looking for their first victory in exhibition play, the Mavericks (0-6) will conclude the preseason against the Eastern Conference powerhouse Bulls (3-4). Meanwhile, Mavs coach Rick Carlisle says there’s a chance his team could have its two prized offseason signees available, leaving open the possibility that Matthews and Williams could make there debuts Friday night as the two look to put aside their respective injuries.
