DALLAS — After limping to 2-3 in the preseason following a 112-107 loss last Friday in Phoenix, the Dallas Mavericks will try to get back on track Wednesday night at home by sending a message to one of their Southwest Division rivals.
Looking to draw even on their exhibition schedule with a win in front of their hometown fans, the Mavericks will play host to the high-scoring Houston Rockets. The Mavs will also have an opportunity to learn from the miscues in their last game after surrendering 21 points off 18 turnovers against the Suns. And while facing a Houston team that they’ll see four times this upcoming season and twice within the first three games, the Mavs hope to ramp up their play before the final exhibition contest Friday in Denver.
