Mavericks’ forward Kristaps Porzingis will not play in either of the games this weekend when the Mavericks finish their six-game home stand against the Lakers and 76ers, coach Rick Carlisle said.
The 7-3 Porzingis already has missed five games because of right knee soreness. The Mavericks are 2-3 in those games.
“KP will not play either of these games this weekend,” Carlisle said. “He continues to progress. He’s doing better all the time.
“One of the games on the West Coast trip is a possibility, either Golden State or Sacramento. But there’s nothing written in stone on that.
