Chandler Parsons (right knee soreness) will be out tonight in Game 2 of the Dallas Mavericks’ first-round playoffs against Houston and there is concern that he could be lost for the rest of the series.
Coach Rick Carlisle said the knee has not responded the way the team had hoped.
“This is a young man who is very important to our team now and in the future,” Carlisle said. “We’re very concerned. He will be re-evaluated (Wednesday) by Dr.(T.O.) Souryal and we’ll have more information for you following that evaluation.”
Asked if he was concerned that Parsons might be lost for the series, Carlisle said: “I’m concerned, period.
