INDIANAPOLIS – The Dallas Mavericks discovered first-hand what it’s like to play against the fast-paced Indiana Pacers. And it wasn’t good.
Euless Trinity High School product Myles Turner finished with 33 points and eight rebounds for Indiana and the Pacers snapped the Mavs’ seven-game winning streak as they raced to a convincing 133-111 victory on Sunday afternoon at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The loss dropped the Mavs to 33-24 in the opener of a four-game road trip that continues Tuesday in Cleveland.
Luka Doncic (33 points, six rebounds, six assists, two blocks) and Kyrie Irving (29 points, six boards) led the way for the Mavs, who also got 14 points, five rebounds and two steals from Josh Green, while Tim Hardaway Jr.
