SHANGHAI -- One by one, the bleary-eyed Mavericks walked into their hotel in the touristy area of town.
Their team meal was waiting for them. But just about everybody bypassed that in favor of a nice soft pillow in their room.
And then there was Dirk Nowitzki.
With chants of "two more years" coming from an impressive crowd outside the hotel, Nowitzki shook off whatever jet lag he was feeling and signed autograph after autograph for fans lining both sides of the entryway into the hotel.
Nowitzki smiled and took his time mingling with the Chinese fans, many of them wearing his jersey, while teammates scurried in and made their way to their rooms.
