We knew that Dirk Nowitzki, a.k.a. @swish41, loved kids. But puppies? Then again, who doesn't love puppies?
Not surprisingly, it turns out Goldilocks Nowitzki and a yellow Labrador Retriever puppy make for a great photo op. Nowitzki and the Mavericks took full advantage during last week's media day -- and got in some puppy cuddling -- to promote a free program called Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Turned out, the eight-week-old guide dog-in-training that visited the American Airlines Center last week is named Swish.
