Nowitzki had yet another efficient night shooting the ball. He connected on 7-of-10 field goal attempts and finished the game with a scorching 70 percent FG percentage. However, Nowitzki was not the only Mav with a hot hand. The team connected on 40-of-78 field goals to give the Mavs an impressive 51 percent FG percentage to beat the Indiana Pacers 98-94 on the road. The win in Indianapolis also ended a Mavs road game losing streak that spanned eight road games.
Five other Mavs’ players joined Nowitzki with double-digit scoring performances. Barnes and Matthews added 13 and 12 points respectively.
