DALLAS — While newly-signed big man David Lee admits that he has much more to adjust to in the Dallas Mavericks’ system, the veteran seems to be picking up the team’s offensive and defensive principles quickly.
Monday, the Mavericks (30-27) announced that they had officially signed the 32-year-old Lee as a free agent after waiving fourth-year guard John Jenkins to clear up a roster spot. Lee was a member of the NBA champion Golden State Warriors last season before being move to Boston in exchange for forward Gerald Wallace and guard Chris Babb during a trade on July 27.
