The Dallas Mavericks have made qualifying offers to Yogi Ferrell, Doug McDermott and Salah Mejri, per reports from Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN and Eddie Sefko of Dallas Morning News. By officially making the offer, Ferrell ($2.9 million), McDermott ($9.8 million) and Mejri ($1.8 million) become restricted free agents for the Mavericks — allowing Dallas to sign each player outright, or match any offer sheet each signs (within 72 hours).
Mark Cuban and Donnie Nelson had until June 29th to make this decision. As restricted free agents, each player has the option to sign an offer sheet elsewhere, sign a new deal in Dallas, or take the qualifying offer which would make them unrestricted free agents next summer.
