The buzz was palpable 90 minutes before tipoff, with roughly 2,000 fans already inside American Airlines Center, awaiting their first glimpse of Stephen Curry.

He didn't disappoint.

From the moment he took the court at 6:09 p.m. to warm up, drawing shrieks and 'oohs,' to Friday night's conclusion, when he'd led Golden State to a 130-112 victory over the Mavericks, reigning NBA Most Valuable Player Curry was everything he was billed to be.
