MEXICO CITY — Although the Dallas Mavericks admit that they’re excited to participate in the NBA Global Games this season, the team also knows it will face a daunting task Thursday night against the Phoenix Suns at Mexico City Arena.
Looking to avenge a 102-95 loss in Dallas at the hands of the Suns (12-26) last Thursday, the Mavericks (11-27) will seek retribution Thursday night. Meanwhile, the Mavs will try to bring their current three-game losing skid to an end, hoping to get on a roll with a much-needed victory before returning stateside. But while still adjusting to the steep altitude, the Mavs know they will have to battle more than just the Suns in front of a 22,300-seat capacity crowd.
