One night after suffering an embarrassing loss in Sacramento, the Dallas Mavericks traveled about two hours up the highway and proceeded to humiliate the Golden State Warriors, winning in blowout fashion, 133-103, at the Chase Center.
Tuesday’s victory padded Dallas’ record to 34-27 and left the Mavs – they’re sitting sixth in the Western Conference — one game ahead of Portland with just 11 games remaining. And in squaring this three-game road trip at 1-1 while also winning the season against the Warriors 2-1, the Mavs were absolutely dominant.
The Mavs miraculously reeled off 28 straight points to go from being down 12-11 to being ahead, 39-12, early in the second quarter.
