CHICAGO – Luka Donu010diu0107’s streak of collecting 30-point triple-doubles came to a halt on Monday night at the United Center. But the Dallas Mavericks still had enough mustard to power their way to a 127-92 victory over the Chicago Bulls.
Donu010diu0107 left the game for good with 27 points, 12 rebounds and 14 assists. At the time of his departure, the Mavs were holding a commanding 111-78 lead with 6:09 left in the game.
Donu010diu0107 entered Monday’s game with an NBA -record six straight 30-point triples-doubles along with an NBA-record five consecutive 35-point triple-doubles. While continuing those two streaks would have been a nice caveat, the Mavs saw no need to put Donu010diu0107 in harm’s way down the stretch in a game that had already been decided.
